Jin Jin is an Asian fusion restaurant in Matakana, just a short stroll from the village and an easy stop for anyone exploring the area. Matakana is well known for its food, wine and beer, its markets and galleries, and the beautiful coastline that surrounds it, and we’re proud to be part of that experience.

We serve a mix of dishes including sashimi, dumplings, noodles, stir fries and curries, with a balance of lighter options and fuller meals to suit both lunch and dinner. Many guests hear about us through recommendations, and over time Jin Jin has become a regular favourite for locals and a ritual visit for people spending time in the region.

Our space is relaxed and contemporary, working well for different styles of dining. Guests join us for quick lunches, longer dinners or takeaway when that suits their plans. We’re open seven days a week.
